Last night Wuggie and I finally finished reading InkHeart, which we started back in the fall. It think that's the longest one we've ever read!

Like a Bean

Wuggie is growing like a bean. Remember those beans we planted for earth day? Well.....

















Wuggie has grown 1 1/2 inches since JAUNARY! No wonder all his pants don't fit.

Double Sided

Here's Wuggie's recent environmental commentary:

"We should always use both sides of a paper, right?"

"Right"

"And then we should recycle the paper, right?"

"Right"

"But on Post-it notes you can only use one side because of the sticky stuff on the other side."

My eye falls on the array of post-its I have spread out before me organizing my life. He's got me there.

Cabbage Magic

Did you know that purple cabbage juice can be used as a PH tester? We sure know now.

Here's Wuggie's awesome joke yesterday (Thursday) after school:

Mom: Tomorrow's another half day
Wuggie: Does that mean it will still be Thursday?

It took me a while to get it. I'm a little slow.

This morning I woke him saying:
Time to finish the other half of Thursday.

Tae Kwon Do

Last week Wuggie Norple and his good friend took their first Tae Kwon Do class. At first they both looked a little bewildered, but then they got to punch, kick and yell. By the end of the class Wuggie's face was red and his smile was beaming. I asked him on the way home "how was it?" He replied "It was AWESOME."
